Join our forward-thinking educational institution as a coach guiding gifted K-2 students to achieve rapid literacy advancement using adaptive technology and motivational coaching. This role is not a traditional classroom teaching position; instead you will create and facilitate dynamic reading sessions, drive learning outcomes, and provide targeted support without lesson planning or classroom management responsibilities.
Base pay $50.00/hr - $50.00/hr
Equivalent to approximately $100,000 USD per year (40 hours per week). Weekly payment and benefits include full health coverage, HSA/FSA options, 401(k) Roth, and relocation assistance.
Location Georgetown (Austin), Texas (on site)
What you will be doing
Create and facilitate dynamic, individualized phonics-focused reading sessions for small groups of gifted K‑2 students.
Leverage storytelling and participatory teaching methods to drive learning outcomes 5‑10x faster than conventional standards.
Monitor individual student development and modify instruction on the fly to address each cohort’s unique requirements.
Provide targeted one‑on‑one and small group support to achieve quantifiable advancement in adaptive reading and writing applications.
Basic requirements
Available to work on‑site at GT.School in Georgetown, TX (relocation assistance available).
Bachelor’s degree plus advanced certification in structured literacy methodologies (Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson or comparable).
Minimum 2 years conducting small‑group reading interventions with K‑2 learners.
Background working with gifted or advanced students in specialized educational settings.
Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning platforms and interpreting student performance metrics.
Strong instructional presence with capacity to captivate young students through vocal delivery, narrative techniques, and enthusiasm.
Authorized to work legally in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
Working with us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. Compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Weekly payment applies.
