Responsibilities

Pull orders, stock products, and perform daily inventory quality control.

Support effective customer service by assisting staff with order pulling and truck loading.

Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment; manually lift and move materials as needed.

Accurately enter orders, transfers, and vendor POs into company systems and ensure daily billing/invoicing.

Verify receiving documentation and required signatures for accuracy and compliance.

Manage inventory levels through cycle counts; collaborate with management on purchasing and order verification.

Use company computer systems for scanning, billing, order entry, deposits, and report queues.

Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and all local, state, and federal regulations.

Identify and report operational issues or personnel concerns to management promptly.

Oversee petty cash handling, reconciliation, and recordkeeping.

Resolve delivery discrepancies or damage issues with freight carriers.

Lead, train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff; delegate work and recommend personnel actions.

Manage timekeeping, payroll distribution, attendance, and benefits administration.

Maintain strong communication with sales representatives regarding accounts receivable status, special orders, pricing, and vendor support.

Generate reports, statistics, schedules, and documentation as required.

Work independently and collaboratively.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Ensure quality control at the end of the day for shipments.

Approximately 60% of the role involves warehouse work and 40% administrative duties.

Requirements

2+ years of warehouse or operations experience, including order pulling, receiving, and inventory control.

Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment, with the ability to safely lift up to 150 lbs.

Computer proficiency with order entry, scanning, billing/invoicing, and basic reporting; experience with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred.

Inventory management experience, including receiving shipments, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate stock levels.

Previous leadership roles with the ability to train, delegate work, and oversee warehouse staff.

Customer service and communication skills to support counter sales and resolve delivery issues.

Understanding of safety standards and the ability to enforce safety protocols.

Experience with basic administrative and record-keeping skills, including timeclock/payroll support and petty cash handling.

Strong situational awareness and sound judgment to handle unexpected issues effectively.
