About The Role As an associate behavioral health director in a Federally Qualified Health Center, you’ll be a forward-thinking strategic leader who uses your analytical skills to implement quality initiatives. You will provide administrative and clinical oversight for a wide range of patients, including those who are underinsured or uninsured. You will report directly to the behavioral health director and will have strong influencing ability in your role. You’ll be a part of an integrated care team dedicated to patient-centered care for the underserved population, and manage a team of licensed social workers focused on a better care experience for our patients.

You will be primarily based at one of our locations, and will occasionally travel to other Neighborhood sites.

Education & Experience

Requires a master’s degree in social work or its equivalent from an accredited program and a current and unrestricted New York State social work license, LCSW. Eligibility for FQHC credentialing and participation in federal programs required.

Early childhood and experience with families preferred.

5+ years of clinical experience preferred.

2-5 years of administrative or clinical leadership experience required.

FQHC or healthcare experience preferred.

Attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow through.

What We Offer Compensation: $76,000-$83,000 (based on a full time work week).

Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position-related components.

Malpractice coverage is provided at Neighborhood Health Centers through FTCA.
