Valet Attendant
Location: University of Miami Health System, 1400 NW 12th Ave, Miami, FL 33136
Positions: Valet Attendant / Valet Runner
Shift Times: Full‑Time or Part‑Time (Monday through Friday)
Hourly Pay: $14.00 / hour (plus tips)

Key Responsibilities
Mobilize and coordinate the valet process, including retrieving keys, loading vehicles, issuing tickets, and entering customer information electronically.
Build rapport with guests, address inquiries, and provide directions to assist customer success and retention.
Act as a courteous brand ambassador by opening vehicle doors and unloading vehicles with professionalism.
Implement vehicle safety and security procedures: direct traffic, barricade positions, park vehicles, inspect for damage, and report incidents.
Collect and reconcile relevant fees, and verify end‑of‑shift revenue.
Meet guests upon arrival, open doors, and assist with unloading as needed.
Press to retrieve vehicles for waiting guests and offer assistance with luggage or personal items.
Provide excellent customer service, respond courteously, and give directions to highways or destinations.
Deploy traffic control, barricades, and towing services when necessary.
Report incidents or claims promptly to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
Maintain professional communication with guests, clients, and teammates at all times.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum age 18.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Acceptable driving record and motor vehicle report (MVR).
Quick learning and sound decision‑making in fast‑paced environments.
Physical ability to move from valet stand to customer cars for extended periods.
Previous valet experience preferred.
