Warehouse Lead - Cargoliner
The Warehouse team at WeatherTech is seeking a Warehouse Lead to ensure all products are properly picked and packed according to quality standards to effectively complete all open orders. 1st shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. 2nd shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (with $1.00 differential). Shift duties and responsibilities include: Hold daily meetings with the team relaying all department, warehouse and company related information. Coordinate and assign all team members their daily tasks. Ensure pickers and packers are accurate and productive. Receive and appropriately react to all department related reports. Email any and all necessary parties with regard to product and personnel issues. Assist in the training of employees regarding company and departmental policies and procedures in addition to all required safety protocols. Ensure the training of employees regarding company and departmental policies and procedures in addition to all required safety protocols. Train new and existing team members on company and departmental policies and procedures, including safety protocols; enforce all company policies, procedures, and protocols. Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of all processes and responsibilities of assigned work area. Fill in as necessary for any Warehouse team members; perform daily work during downtime. Participate in daily shift meetings to share any pertinent information or issues between shifts, promoting interaction and communication between all three shifts and related departments. Assist in resolving employee concerns and conflict; inform supervisor of any incidents; counsel employees on performance as necessary; maintain confidentiality and respect privacy and sensitive information in regard to all employee matters. Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures. Work a full‑time schedule; work overtime as business demands including extended hours and/or weekends. Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, clean and maintain equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. High degree of attention for shortages, delays, work stoppages, and other issues that lead to downtime or efficiency loss. Flexibility to work weekends and overtime, as required. Epicor experience is a plus. Able to read, write, and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions in English. Basic math, measuring, and computer skills.
