Biology Instructor, Part-time Adjunct Pool (PC) – Inside Higher Ed
Job Number: FY24-2501272 | Location: Porterville, CA | Department: Natural Science | Job Type: Part-time | Salary: $66–$67 hourly.
Basic Function : Kern Community College District is soliciting applications for part-time, hourly adjunct instructors for the Natural Science department. Applications remain active for up to two years and will be considered promptly should a need arise.
Minimum Qualifications :
Master’s degree in any biological science
or Bachelor’s degree in any biological science and a Master’s in biochemistry, biophysics, or marine science
or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and accomplishments. Candidates should submit an APPLICATION FOR EQUIVALENCY form with supporting documents.
Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

Copies of legible transcripts
For foreign degree holders, a professional evaluation by a NACES or ACEI member and a copy of the evaluation.
