Join Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as a Registered Nurse (RN) caring for patients in our Level I adult and pediatric trauma center’s Observation Unit. This position is sign‑on bonus eligible and offers a relocation bonus for candidates residing outside the designated distance to the facility. Expectations We’re Looking For
Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire. 2 years of RN experience preferred. What You’ll Do
Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. About This Location
The ED Observation Unit at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is a hybrid unit for our Level I adult and pediatric trauma center. The unit consists of 20‑24 beds and is staffed by more than 30 board‑certified emergency physicians, physician assistants nurse practitioners, experienced emergency nurses, sexual assault nurse examiners, forensic nurse examiners, social workers, case managers, and other specially trained staff.
