Case Manager
– THOMPSON Child & Family Focus
Overview THOMPSON was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Our continuum of care includes prevention, mental health services, and foster care. All programs are trauma‑informed and evidence‑based, aiming to build resilience in children (ages 0‑18) and their families, both virtually and in person. Responsibilities
Provide dependency case management services to families with verified abuse history and an open dependency case in Seminole County.
Coordinating comprehensive services and care linkage for youth ages 0‑17 in out‑of‑home care who have experienced significant trauma and loss.
Engage and support caregivers to strengthen protective capacities and improve ability to care for children, ultimately promoting safety and stability.
Manage crisis situations, link youth and caregivers to service providers, write court reports, testify in court, and conduct face‑to‑face engagement in the community.
Adopt an on‑call schedule for after‑hours coverage (nights/weekends) with hours varying by client need.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field.
Relevant professional experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license and compliance with applicable credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Pass a drug screening test and a comprehensive background check.
