We have an immediate opening for a full‑time Medical Assistant/Patient Services Representative to provide coverage at our Baltimore Harbor East office located in Baltimore, Maryland, and will float to our Towson, Maryland office as needed. The schedule is Monday‑Friday 6:30 am‑3:00 pm, with a holiday rotation. The pay range for this position is $20 to $23 per hour.
Responsibilities
Answer phones and assist with clerical work.
Check patients in/out, schedule appointments, and collect payments.
Maintain supplies for the blood‑drawing stations.
Ensure lab specimens are sent to the proper labs.
Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records.
Utilize the computer to enter labs and print labels.
Assist physician or ultrasound technician with various procedures.
Assist with HSGs as needed.
Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance.
Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients.
Qualifications
High School diploma; Associate’s degree preferred.
Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology.
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to follow through, with high comfort with computer applications; accuracy and speed with data entry is required.
