We have an immediate opening for an experienced and dedicated full-time Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative to join the team in Central Park, Colorado location. The schedule is working Monday through Friday, daytime hours (7:30 AM–4:00 PM). The pay is up to $21 per hour. There is not an application deadline for this position.
How You'll Contribute: We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn't specifically our "job." In general, the Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative is responsible for:
High volume of phlebotomy; maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations
Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs
Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records; utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels
Provide high level of customer service to patients
Schedule appointments, answer phone calls
Check patients in/out; prescription refills
Pre-authorizations for medication
What You'll Bring:
Must have completed formal MA education/certification
Strong phlebotomy skills are required
Extensive knowledge of insurance/benefits, medical terminology and medical billing
Background in women's health and fertility/IVF experience preferred
Strong patient orientation and be a team player
Professionalism and strong customer service skills a must
