Pay Range Base pay range: $135,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr. Actual pay based on skills and experience.

Location: Atlanta, GA

Salary: Will be discussed with manager in interview. Relocation assistance or sign‑on bonus available.

Duties / Responsibilities

Assist the Department Head in preparing proposals, estimates, presentations, employee evaluations, and recruiting process.

Coordinate with office staff and clients as required.

Create and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.

Participate in pre‑survey planning meetings with project managers, resident engineers, and contractor representatives.

Adhere to local, state, and federal survey regulations and Accura procedures.

Have project management experience.

Experience / Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field from an accredited program preferred. Two‑year degree plus experience accepted.

Must be a Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia; other state licenses desirable.

GDOT (Georgia Department of Transportation) experience required.

10+ years of experience managing survey projects of varying sizes and complexity.

8+ years of experience in land surveying.

SIT license.

107 Remote Pilot’s Certification a plus.

Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Carlson, LiDAR (TopoDOT, Pix4D) a plus.

Experience with GDOT MicroStation/Open Roads Design (ORD) desirable.

Working knowledge of GDOT SUE process desirable.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in CAD, Least Squares Reduction, and other survey software.

Experience with GIS platforms desirable.

Experience with Robotic Total Stations, GPS (including post‑processing).

Experience with scanners, drones, and other emerging technologies desirable.

Should be registered in Georgia or become registered within a year as a Land Surveyor.

Demonstrated record of success on ALTA, route/database, boundaries, topographical, inventories, and other types of surveys.
