Responsibilities
Process and review AZ Forms 285 and 290 for accuracy and completeness
Serve as a point of contact for taxpayer inquiries related to forms completion
Assist with the routing of emails and provide tier 1 customer care
Engage in ongoing training to ensure compliance with tax laws and best practices
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the department
Qualifications
Minimum of six (6) months of related experience
Basic knowledge of federal and state tax laws, accounting principles, and auditing standards
Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, and familiarity with Google Suite applications
Ability to clear a comprehensive background and clearance process
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a closely related field
