Overview

The General Manager is accountable for the management and operations of the restaurant, ensuring that Team Members are hospitality and people focused and perform their job duties to meet expectations in all areas of their role. The General Manager reports to the District Manager and supervises Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members. The role operates the restaurant in line with the business plan for the location and reflects Capstone Restaurant Group values: People, Hospitality, and Integrity. Recruit and hire staff, and maintain a bench for future growth. Coordinate marketing plans and ensure proper installation of POP and menu board elements. Ensure restaurant is properly staffed and Team Members are trained through effective training programs. Open and operate the restaurant during Business Hours as defined by leadership. Provide leadership to inspire enthusiasm and a positive attitude aligned with company objectives. Maintain inventory levels and equipment in excellent condition through approved vendors. Demonstrate proficiency in all areas of restaurant operations and technology. Supervise in accordance with established performance and operating policies in the operations standards manual. Develop and motivate Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members to perform at their highest level. Review preliminary P/Ls and coordinate with the District Manager on questions or issues. Adhere to HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to provide a safe and compliant environment. Qualifications

3–5 years of management experience in a quick service/fast food dining concept. Financial/analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management. Competencies

Valid driver’s license. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work flexible hours and shifts to complete essential duties. Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the restaurant. Ability to make effective decisions under pressure and delegate tasks. Strong conflict resolution skills. High sense of urgency and self-motivation. Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills. Physical Requirements

Stand for long periods of time. Work around high temperatures and in close quarters with others. Able to lift 50 pounds comfortably. Handle cleaning products and maintain quality and speed under continuous high pace. Pay and Benefits
