Part Time Floor Leader - Highland Village

Houston, Texas, United States Weekly:

20-29 hours Overview

As a Floor Leader, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Store Management Team across all areas of the business. This includes driving sales, opening/closing the store, analyzing sales results, and leading training sessions. You and fellow leaders will work to ensure that every aspect of the store is firing on all cylinders, creating an exceptional customer experience, a happy and motivated staff, and operational excellence. Your day-to-day will be spent on the shop floor, where you'll lead and inspire a team of sales associates to achieve and surpass their goals. By fostering a culture of passion and positivity, you'll help create a work environment that's productive and fun, resulting in happy customers and happy employees. Responsibilities

Driving Sales:

Use the StoreForce dashboard to coach the sales team, adjust the shop floor structure to meet and exceed sales goals, take ownership of results, and celebrate achievements with the team. Customer Experience:

Deliver a world-class customer experience on the shop floor, including product demonstrations; observe consultations, collaborate with the team, and strive to exceed daily sales goals. Building the Brand:

Educate customers on Lush brand values and our position on animal testing, ethics, and product stewardship in-store and through community engagement. Product Passion:

Increase product knowledge and make informed recommendations for customer needs. Team Involvement

Development:

Train and coach Sales Ambassadors and peers on sales techniques and product knowledge to improve performance and support team growth. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging:

Encourage open communication, listen to perspectives, and promote belonging and collaboration. Operational Excellence

Cash Handling and Store Opening/Closing:

Manage cash handling, customer transactions, register opening/closing, cash drawer reconciliation, nightly deposits, and store security; as required, take deposits to the bank. Time and Attendance:

Lead by example in attendance and punctuality; monitor breaks and maintain readiness of the team. Review daily communications to keep the team informed for shifts. Visuals and Merchandising:

Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer experience. Stock and Inventory:

Train the team on inventory best practices and support inventory tasks; use Visual Merchandising guidelines to adjust product displays based on sales. Policies and Procedures:

Ensure compliance with opening/closing procedures, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety standards. Qualifications

Required: Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales Cash handling and opening/closing procedures Supervisory experience with coaching, feedback, and training Problem-solving in day-to-day customer service operations Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred: Experience with consultation-based customer service models Experience analyzing sales metrics Experience in skincare or cosmetics Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages Compensation
