Classes will run 8 hours/day Monday through Friday starting on

February 16th 2026 . 80 hours of coursework plus 16 hours of clinical rotation are required to graduate from the program. Class participants agree to work in a full‑time or part‑time role at the Senior Care Center once they become certified.

Responsibilities The primary purpose of your job is to assist and supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty. Such activity must be in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the director of Nursing, to ensure that the highest degree of total quality care is maintained at all times.

Education Must be 18 years old at the time of hire.

Compensation $18.90 shift and weekend incentive pay.

Physical Requirements Occasionally (0‑33%) – Standing, sitting, change position, reaching, reach across midline, crouching/squatting, stairs, lifting (0‑50 lbs), carrying (0‑20 lbs), pushing/pulling (20‑50 lbs)

Frequently (34‑66%) – Walking, handling, pinching

Continuously (37‑100%) – See with corrective eyewear, hear clearly with assistance

Benefits Eligibility Medical, dental, vision, health care FSA, and dependent care FSA: All active employees working 40 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month following date of hire. PRN staff are not initially eligible for benefits, and GVH follows all Affordable Health Care Act eligibility guidelines.
