Responsibilities and Duties

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare product.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Complete any required paperwork.

Clean equipment and facility daily.

Maintain store equipment.

Read a map and navigate to designated locations.

Locate addresses and deliver across adverse terrain while carrying product.

Use personal vehicle to deliver products.

Job Requirements You must be 18 years of age or older.

Reliable vehicle with proof of insurance.

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Competitive nature and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Training

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Training will focus on:

Taking orders.

Labeling boxes.

Delivering product safely.

Avoiding hazards and distractions on the road.

Essential Functions / Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).

Must be able to make correct monetary change.

Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.

Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements.

Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

Work Conditions

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.

In‑store temperatures range from 32 °F in the cooler to 90 °F and above in some work areas.

Extreme weather conditions including temperatures from 0 °F to 110 °F outside.

Rain, fog, sleet, snow, ice, wind, dust, and more.

Sudden changes in temperature in the work area and while outside.

Fumes from food odors.

Exposure to cornmeal dust.

Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.

Hot surfaces/tools from oven and hot plates up to 500 °F or higher.

Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing Requirements

Talking and listening on the telephone.

Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.

Depth perception.

Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Physical Requirements

Standing: most tasks performed standing; work surface height between 36 and 48 inches.

Walking/Jogging/Running: for short distances or durations.

Sitting: paperwork usually completed in an office at a desk or table.

Lifting: bulk product deliveries twice a week or more, cases up to 50 lb, stacked up to 72 inches high.

Carrying: large bags/boxes/crates up to 50 lb; trays of pizza dough ~12 lb.

Pushing: trays on dollies, force up to 7.5 lb required.

Climbing: infrequent stairs or ladder use.

Stooping/Bending: forward bending at the waist at pizza assembly station; duration 45‑120 s per bout.

Crouching/Squatting: occasional stocking shelves and cleaning low areas.

Reaching: above and below 72 inches for tasks; downward reaching for scooping cornmeal, washing dishes, etc.

Hand Tasks: eye‑hand coordination essential, continuous hand use; frequent forearm and wrist use; manipulate pizza peel, rolling cutter, etc.
