Pay Range Base pay: $48,500.00/yr – $55,000.00/yr. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
Qualifications
NC teaching certification (ECK-12) required.
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field from an accredited college or university required.
Appropriate teacher’s certification required.
Knowledge of secondary education principles, curriculum, and instructional theory.
Ability to analyze data for program improvement.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Preferred: experience with over‑age and at‑risk youth.
Responsibilities
Coach, motivate, and instruct special education high school students within the company model, attending to each student’s Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) and Individual Educational Plan (IEP).
Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to meet instructional and social‑emotional needs.
Work with school administrators to ensure compliance with national, state, and district regulations, and to facilitate Response to Intervention (RtI) policies.
Provide a student‑centered learning environment aligned with academic goals and objectives.
Display effective subject knowledge and best teaching practices.
Assist in initiatives to meet FTE enrollment and attendance goals.
Maintain progress monitoring reports, attendance, behavioral records, academic grades, and other required student records.
Collaborate with peers to develop, plan, and implement strategies aligned with company goals.
Participate in professional development to maintain certification and credentials.
Perform other duties as assigned in line with company policy to achieve educational and behavioral goals.
