Part Time Educator – Hancock Place Elementary School
Location:
Hancock Place Elementary School – Lemay, MO
Pay Rate:
$15–$18 per hour (dependent on education and experience)
Program Hours:
Monday–Friday: 2:25 PM–6 PM
Start Date:
Position through the 2025‑2026 school year following the district calendar
Right At School hires part‑time educators for before‑and‑after school and extended day programs that focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment to support student success. The mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind through safe, engaging experiences.
Responsibilities
Lead daily program meetings to review goals, share ideas, discuss progress, and encourage collaboration.
Organize, prepare, and facilitate daily activities and curriculum that are educational and enjoyable for all ages.
Maintain a safe, nurturing environment, modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
Prioritize safety by monitoring the environment, addressing hazards, and following all safety protocols, including documentation of attendance and incidents.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
Qualifications
Outstanding customer‑service and relationship‑building skills.
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
Ability to lift 25 lb.
Commitment to inspiring a love for learning and promoting healthy living.
Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
State Requirements
Meet Missouri state requirements for school personnel.
First Aid and CPR (in‑person). Cleared tuberculosis test.
Must be 18 + years of age.
Proof of high school diploma or GED.
