Shifts: 7:30pm-8am

Security personnel protect our premises, assets and personnel. This employee will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal and inappropriate actions.
Essential Job Duties
Protect the company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
Immediately report security breaches to designated law enforcement agents
Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
Report in detail any suspicious incidents
Patrol randomly or regularly the building and perimeter
Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
Assess the nature and extent of emergency situations and need for additional assistance
Mitigate incidents by helping to control crowds, protecting valuables, and performing other duties
Assist any persons on the building or grounds needing direction or campus information
Qualifications
At least 1 year of security experience
High School diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
Ability to operate CCTV systems, security software, and emergency equipment
Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
Surveillance skills and detail orientation
Integrity and professionalism
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions This job may require lifting of objects that exceed 25 lbs. and frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs.

Walk and actively complete detailed rounds with canine(s)
Administer medication to canine(s) and ensure they are properly fed and hydrated
