Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Head Swim Coach to lead our competitive swimming program and inspire athletes of all ages and skill levels. In this pivotal role, you will develop training plans, foster a positive team environment, and ensure safety protocols are meticulously followed. Duties

Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to swimmers’ skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors

Lead team practices, drills, and conditioning sessions to improve technique, endurance, and overall performance

Monitor safety procedures diligently, including lifeguard protocols and emergency response readiness during all activities

Foster a motivating environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth among athletes

Conduct regular assessments of swimmers’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development

Coordinate with parents, staff, and facility management to ensure smooth operations and effective communication

Organize swim meets, competitions, and community events to showcase team achievements and promote engagement

Plan and execute end of season awards banquet

Attend all board approved swim meets in which KKW swimmers are participating

Participate in staff recruitment, supervision, and evaluation activities

Skills

Proven experience as a swim coach or in sports coaching with a focus on youth development

Strong background in stroke technique and training physiology

Excellent behavior management skills to motivate students and maintain discipline in a dynamic environment

Ability to teach children of diverse ages while fostering confidence and enjoyment in the water

Legal authority to work in the United States and able to pass background check
