Piper restaurant, located at The Seabird Resort in sunny Oceanside, CA. Guest enjoy fresh, garden-to-table delicacies in a bright, convivial, California-coastal setting just off the beach. Restaurant is open in the morning for breakfast and freshly pressed juice. By night, Piper transforms into a warmly intimate space with an open kitchen, full bar and wraparound outdoor patio.
The Seasonal Expo Food Runner is responsible for ensuring orders are accurately delivered from the kitchen to our guest in the restaurants. This person will be working closely with the kitchen staff ensuring all orders are made correctly. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position with continual customer contact.
This list is not all-encompassing and that daily work tasks may and can be altered to meet business needs.
This is an hourly position starting at $17.50

Qualifications Qualifications:
One (1) to five (5) years previous food and beverage running experience.
Must have or be able to obtain food handlers card.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
Working knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service-ware, and menu items.
Ability to read, speak, write and understand English sufficiently to understand menus, special promotions, and communicate with guests to explain and record orders.
Ability to remember, recite, and promote the entire variety of exciting menu items.
Ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight.
