Starbucks Supervisor Overview
As a Starbucks Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts, deploy partners, delegate tasks, and create the Starbucks Experience by providing legendary customer service. Responsibilities
Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote Starbucks culture, values, and mission. Maintains a calm demeanor during high volume periods and sets a positive example for the shift team. Anticipates customer and store needs by evaluating environment and customers for cues. Communicates information to the manager to allow the team to respond and create the Third Place environment. Assists with new partner training, providing coaching and feedback. Contributes to a positive team environment by recognizing changes in partner morale and performance. Creates a learning environment with clear, respectful coaching. Delivers legendary customer service, acting with a customer‑first attitude. Develops positive relationships with the shift team. Executes store operations, including opening and closing duties. Follows operational policies, cash handling, safety, and security procedures. Ensures proper cash management practices. Ensures delivery of legendary customer service during the shift. Maintains regular attendance and punctuality. Qualifications
At least 3 years of progressive experience in a Starbucks Store or related field, or equivalent education and experience combination. Proficiency in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing. Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules, liquor laws, and regulations. Long hours sometimes required. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and 20 lbs frequently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective listening, multitasking, and prioritization. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a courteous, friendly manner. Attend all required meetings and trainings. Participate in M.O.D coverage as required. Maintain regular attendance according to hotel standards. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming. Comply with hotel standards and regulations. Identify problem areas, implement solutions, and maximize productivity. Handle problems, anticipate, prevent, and solve them. Understand and evaluate complex information from various sources. Maintain confidentiality of information. Perform other duties as requested.
