Job Purpose Provide and maintain a clean and sanitary environment by ensuring all floor surfaces are maintained in a manner that supports Endeavors Unlimited’s mission and vision.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Be able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
Follow established safety precautions.
Perform proper techniques of floor care and preparation of areas to be cleaned, buffed, and stripped or waxed as well as carpet cleaning.
Operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment, including but not limited to floor buffer/burnishers, water extraction machines, and carpet cleaning equipment.
Follow established safety precautions for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility.
Perform other duties as assigned by the custodial crew leader.
Demonstrate excellent customer service, in everything you do, by putting the child, family, Veteran, or client first to support our mission to “Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families and their communities.”
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: 1 year experience stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing a wide variety of commercial floors.
Attendance: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance as determined in the employer’s sole discretion.
Licenses: None required. Valid Driver’s License a plus.
Vehicle: None required.
Other: Must be available and willing to work assigned schedules. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of themselves or others.
