General Purpose The league scorekeeper will do the scorekeeping and timekeeping for the grade 5-6 and 7-8 youth basketball games. Must be available on Saturdays, 9am–2pm. Season is scheduled for January 10 – February 14.

Pay Grade:

$19.15 hourly

Remote Tier 1:

Zero (0) days remote/week

Essential Job Functions

Follow all departmental rules and regulations.

Operate the scoreboard and maintain scorekeeping using official scorebook forms.

Communicate game results to supervisor.

Check area for safety hazards and report deficiencies to supervisor.

Report all accidents/incidents occurring within jurisdiction to supervisor.

Required to be on site 15 minutes before the program starts for set up/preparation of games.

Required to tear down and clean up at the conclusion of program.

Communicate with participants in a professional manner.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.

At least one year of related work experience preferred.

Knowledge of sport‑specific rules and regulations.

Follow all departmental and rules and regulations.

Must demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently under general supervision.

Ability to work weekends as required.
