Key Responsibilities
Mobilize and coordinate the end‑to‑end valet process by retrieving keys, retrieving vehicles for waiting guests, loading guest vehicles, and issuing tickets or leveraging electronic devices to enter customer information.
Foster customer success, happiness, and retention by building rapport, addressing inquiries, and providing directions.
Act as a courteous company brand ambassador by interfacing with guests, opening vehicle doors, and unloading vehicles.
Deploy vehicle safety and security procedures to direct traffic, barricade positions, park guests in applicable spaces, inspect for damage, and report incidents and claims to leadership.
Manage financial operations by requesting and collecting relevant fees and reconciling end‑of‑shift revenue.
Meet and greet guests upon arrival, open their vehicle doors, and assist with unloading when necessary.
Retrieve keys, issue tickets, or enter customer information using an electronic device.
Park vehicles in appropriate spaces, ensuring safety and proper operation.
Record vehicle details and any pre‑existing damage using the electronic device or manual ticket.
Assist guests with luggage or personal items when needed.
Respond to inquiries courteously and give directions to nearest highway or destination.
Direct traffic, position barricades, and arrange towing services when required.
Report incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead immediately.
Reconcile revenue against ticket distribution when necessary.
Communicate professionally at all times with guests, clients, and teammates.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles (stick shift).
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong verbal communication with guests.
Acceptable driving record and MVR.
Quick learning and sound decision‑making in fast‑paced environments.
Physical endurance: moving from valet stand to vehicles by walking or running for extended periods, sometimes throughout the shift.
Previous valet experience preferred.
Ability to operate guest vehicles with normal coordination (eye‑hand, hand‑foot).
Maintain an outdoor presence under various weather conditions.
