Overview
The Head JV Coach is responsible for coaching, mentorship, skill and techniques instruction, and building a sense of community within the team, program, and school. The Head JV Coach works under the guidance and in coordination with the Head Varsity Coach in achieving the school and program wide goals. Responsibilities
attend all team activities (matches, practices, gatherings, meetings) ride or drive school provided transportation with team weekly email communication with players and families during the season attend all required athletic department or league meetings responsible for all athletes, equipment, and facilities used while coaching able to teach high school athletes fundamental skills and match sense for volleyball reporting match results to the athletic directors as well as responding to emails within 24 hours when in season. Education And Experience
Previous High School, Club Level, or College Level playing or coaching experience is preferred. Knowledge of fundamental volleyball skill and strategy Skills And Abilities
Interested individuals should possess good communication skills, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with Varsity coaching staff. Problem solving skills Good driving record and ability to drive school minibus Physical Demands
standing for long periods of time riding a school bus long periods of time driving a minibus must be able to carry 25 pounds Work Environment
This job is primarily indoors. Compensation
This position is paid $1,500 – $2,500 per season. Seniority level
