In This Role, You Will Have

The Sales Specialist will achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the local assigned team. The associate will maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed.

The associate will achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance, coordinating product demo, installs, and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor.

Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems’ influence and presence across territories.

Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies, utilizing Strategic Selling tools (Blue sheets) with mentorship and guidance.

Develop knowledge of products, DBS, LBS tools such as DOMO, Showpad, and Territory Business Reviews.

Essential Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 3+ years relevant sales experience (or equivalent).

Proven time‑management skills.

Proven contract negotiation and high‑level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment.

Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Travel and Motor Vehicle Record Requirements

Ability to travel 50‑75%; overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings.

Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Experience

Prior capital sales experience.

Benefits and Compensation Leica Biosystems offers comprehensive benefit programs, including health care, paid time off, 401(k), and more. The salary range for this role is $100,000–$135,000. This position is eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Remote work is available for eligible roles.
