Salary Range:
$53,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Traverse City that are seeking skilled Industrial Electricians. Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in industrial machinery, production lines, and facility infrastructure.
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components to ensure operational reliability and safety.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate repairs and installations.
Adhere to all safety regulations, electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70E), and company policies.
Calibrate and test electrical components, instruments, and control systems using appropriate testing devices.
Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other automation control systems for diagnostics and minor programming adjustments.
Recommended Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in industrial electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
Strong knowledge of PLC systems, motor controls, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
Adherence to NFPA 70E, OSHA, and Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
Bonus Qualifications
PLC programming and development experience (beyond basic troubleshooting)
Robotics troubleshooting and maintenance experience
Experience with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) commissioning and advanced programming
Instrumentation calibration and loop tuning experience
