$51,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Kentwood seeking Mechanics who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical malfunctions on production lines. Install, assemble, and commission new industrial equipment and systems. Calibrate and adjust machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality. Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Complete accurate maintenance logs and repair documentation. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for equipment reliability.
Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical). Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance setting. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols, including LOTO procedures. Vocational training or an Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related technical field.
Bonus Qualifications Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and minor programming. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software. Basic welding and fabrication skills for repair and modification tasks.
