Mitigation Restoration Technician –
PANHANDLE CLEANING & RESTORATION, INC. Location: Washington County, PA. Salary: $19.00–$20.00 per hour. Employment Type: Full-time. Seniority Level: Entry level. Job Function: Management and Manufacturing (industry: Construction). Education and Certification
The RT will respond daily to water mitigation clean‑up job, sewage back‑ups, flooding, fire board‑ups, and demolition jobs. The RT will be trained on water extraction and operation of equipment. The RT will learn how to set up and operate drying equipment. The RT is responsible for reporting to the Project Supervisor at the start of each shift for job assignments and completing assigned tasks daily. The RT completes the process of preserving structural items and contents according to the Project Supervisor’s instructions. The RT informs the Project Supervisor of the equipment and materials needed to complete the assignment properly and on schedule. The RT possesses the communication skills and experience to direct laborers in the restoration protocols. The RT is responsible for personnel documentation, hours, and work performed on a given shift. The RT practices on‑the‑job safety and encourages safety amongst the labor force. The RT will be included on an on call schedule and rotation for after hours and weekend assignments.
