WarehouseSupervisor Position Summary TheWarehouseSupervisoris responsible forleading and executing dailydockand receiving operations to ensure inbound goods are received accurately, quality-inspected, and transacted properly inNetSuite (ERP/WMS). This role is hands-on and works directly on the dock while coordinating priorities to ensure materials are available for production on time. The supervisor owns inbound inventory accuracy, discrepancy investigation, and lift equipment safety training/compliance.

Key Responsibilities Daily Dock Execution & Production Support

Lead daily receiving operations and assign work to ensure inbound flow supports production requirements.

Ensureall required orders/materials arepulled, staged, and made available to productionin a timely manner.

Coordinate with Production, Customer Service,andSupply Chainto resolve shortages, substitutions, and priority conflicts.

Maintain dock discipline: staging lanes, labeling, FIFO/lot control, and orderly flow.

ReceivingTransactions & Documentation (NetSuite)

Receive all inbound shipments and complete required transactions inNetSuite ERP/WMS(receipts, transfers, put-away, etc.).

Validate product, quantity, condition, and supporting documents (POs, packing slips, BOLs, COAs where applicable).

Ensure items are properly labeled,identified, and put away to correct locations withaccuratesystem status.

Incoming Quality Inspection

Perform and/or overseeincoming quality inspectionper internal standards.

Identifydamage, defects, or nonconforming materials; quarantine and elevate per process.

Maintain inspection records and support corrective action follow-up with suppliers/internal stakeholders.

Inventory Accuracy & Discrepancy Investigation

Investigate and resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies (shortages, overages, damages, mislabels, transaction errors).

Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent repeat issues.

Support cycle counts and reconciliation activities tied to inbound and receiving locations.

Safety & Lift Equipment Leadership

Lead safety training and enforcement for all lift equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reachtrucks, etc.).

Ensure pre-shift inspections arecompleted,certificationsremaincurrent, and unsafe behaviors are correctedimmediately.

Maintain safe dock operations including pedestrian separation, loadsecurement, and housekeeping standards (5S).

Team Leadership & Performance

Train and coachwarehouseassociates onprocess compliance, quality expectations, and NetSuite transaction discipline.

Monitor performance, productivity, accuracy, and attendance; provide feedback and escalation as needed.

Support hiring, onboarding, and cross-training tomaintaincoverage and flexibility.

Continuous Improvement

Track and improve KPIs: dock-to-stock time, receiving accuracy, discrepancy rate, damage rate, inspection compliance.

Identifybottlenecks and implement improvements in staging, put-away, layout, and transaction workflows.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

2+years’ experiencein receiving/warehouse/inventory operations, preferably in a production-support environment.

Prior leadership experience (supervisor/lead)preferred;must be comfortable directing daily work.

Working knowledge of inventory control and transaction accuracy.

Experience using an ERP/WMS system;NetSuite experiencestronglypreferred.

Lift equipmentexperience;able toensuresafe operation and conduct training/coaching.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with incoming inspection processes and nonconformance handling.

Experience supporting cycle count programs and audit readiness.

Lean/5S familiarity in a warehouse environment.
