Job Description As a Material Handler 2, you will play a crucial role in our Plant operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve the efficient movement, organization, and storage of materials within our facility, utilizing both motorized and non‑motorized equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Move materials between production and storage areas using motorized vehicles (forklifts) and smaller motorized equipment.
Inspect materials for defects, quantity, and quality.
Locate and move stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
Inspect machinery and perform regular maintenance to ensure safety.
Package, label, and process shipments, ensuring accuracy and damage prevention.
Load and unload materials for shipping and receiving, verifying accuracy and identifying defects.
Utilize hand tools and equipment to prepare materials for shipping, storage, and receiving.
Required Skills
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs or more.
Attention to Detail: Accurate and precise in tasks.
Organizational Skills: Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Teamwork: Work effectively with colleagues.
Mechanical Aptitude: Operate and maintain motorized equipment.
Valid Driver's License required for operating motorized vehicles.
Experience
2-5 years operating a tractor, forklift, and other motorized equipment.
