About Our Agency: I opened my agency in 1996, and today I lead a team of nine. I’ve been with State Farm for over 40 years, beginning my career in claims before moving into agency. It truly runs in the family—my son works with me, my daughter is a State Farm agent an hour away, and even my brother is an agent. Outside the office, I’ve spent more than 20 years officiating ACC football, which has taught me a lot about discipline, teamwork, and decision‑making under pressure. I stay very involved in the community through local schools, our church, and several annual initiatives. Every year, we host a community blood drive, sponsor the Athlete of the Year award, and support Food for the Soul during the holidays. Role Description: As a Customer Service Representative – State Farm Agent Team Member with Gary Patterson – State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support. We look forward to connecting with you if you are the customer‑focused and empathetic team member we are searching for. We anticipate internal growth opportunities for especially driven and sales‑minded candidates.
Responsibilities:
Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
Qualifications:
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
Previous customer service experience preferred.
