Overview
Warehouse Cherry Picker Operator 1st Shift – Port Deposit, MD Ryder is immediately hiring a permanent full-time Warehouse Associate to join the distribution and fulfillment team. Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading) Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production core Shift hours Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred Valid Forklift Operator's License certified Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work in a diverse environment and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels High level of initiative, thoroughness, and dependability Punctuality and good attendance record Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs Ability to stand for long periods and work using health and safety methods Flexibility to work various shifts Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices Benefits
