Base Pay Range $22.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Position Overview The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative, corrective, and on‑demand maintenance across both locations. This role requires a hands‑on professional who works well independently, maintains high standards, and takes pride in keeping our business centers operating efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager and works closely with on‑site teams to ensure all facilities are properly maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and facility walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems, including lighting, electrical components, plumbing fixtures, doors, locks, and general mechanical systems.

Complete maintenance and repair tasks such as painting, minor drywall work, concrete and asphalt patching, pressure washing, and general grounds upkeep.

Assist with basic HVAC-related tasks, including monitoring cooling equipment performance.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and perform repairs with minimal supervision.

Coordinate with and support outside vendors for specialized repairs when necessary.

Assist with event setup, breakdown, and facility-related projects as needed.

Maintain tools and equipment; report repair or replacement needs.

Track, document, and report maintenance activities and expenditures in accordance with company procedures.

Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, safety, and fire protection standards.

Maintain professional interactions with clients and staff to support overall satisfaction.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3–4 years of hands‑on commercial maintenance or building engineering experience required.

Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, lighting systems, general repairs, and basic HVAC.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and “stay busy” with limited supervision.

Must be able to lift up to 50–55 lbs, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Reliable transportation is required, as this position regularly travels between Naples and Fort Myers.

Pickup truck or work van preferred (mileage reimbursed during working hours).

Strong communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Clean background and successful completion of a drug screening are required prior to employment.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, approximately 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

Occasional after‑hours or weekend work may be required based on facility needs.
