ASSISTANT CASE MANAGER - CASE AIDE

Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) is a social and human services agency whose mission is to partner with families, caregivers, and the community to strengthen families, ensure safety, and achieve permanency for all Arizona’s children through prevention, services, and support. Salary: $17.34 hourly. Requisition closing date: Open until filled; applications reviewed daily. What You’ll Do

Support children and families under the direction of a Case Manager Provide direct services in DCS programs Transport clients and ensure proper use of child safety seats Schedule appointments and coordinate services Supervise parent-child visits Refer clients to community resources Attend court hearings and required meetings Document client interactions and activities Provide general case management and clerical support You may also be required to work outside of regular hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. We’re Looking For Someone Who Can

Build and maintain trusting, professional relationships with children, parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members Demonstrate compassionate communication and active listening when supporting families during sensitive situations Use attention to detail when completing clerical tasks such as data entry, file maintenance, and document preparation Collaborate effectively with case managers, supervisors, and service providers as part of a team-centered approach Utilize Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and mobile technology to communicate, schedule, and document work Safely transport children to appointments while maintaining compliance with driving and safety requirements Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory 39‑month driving record The ability to obtain and maintain a valid Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card Work history, Central Registry and Public Record may be considered Knowledge Areas That Support Success

Basic principles of human and social services Child welfare and family support concepts Basic safety practices related to client transportation and child safety seating The Perks
