Join the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) as an Assistant Case Manager – Case Aide. DCS partners with families, caregivers, and the community to strengthen families, ensure safety, and achieve permanency for all Arizona’s children through prevention, services, and support.

Salary:

$17.34 per hour.

Requisition Closing Date:

Open Until Filled; applications reviewed daily.

What You’ll Do

Support children and families under the direction of a Case Manager.

Provide direct services in Department of Child Safety programs.

Transport clients and ensure proper use of child safety seats.

Schedule appointments and coordinate services.

Supervise parent‑child visits.

Refer clients to community resources.

Attend court hearings and required meetings.

Document client interactions and activities.

Provide general case management and clerical support.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Can

Build and maintain trusting, professional relationships with children, parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members.

Demonstrate compassionate communication and active listening when supporting families during sensitive situations.

Use attention to detail when completing clerical tasks such as data entry, file maintenance, and document preparation.

Collaborate effectively with case managers, supervisors, and service providers as part of a team‑centered approach.

Utilize Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and mobile technology to communicate, schedule, and document work.

Safely transport children to appointments while maintaining compliance with driving and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory 39‑month driving record.

Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Work history, Central Registry and Public Record will be considered.

All newly hired State employees are subject to and must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E‑Verify).
