Job Opportunity Kitchen Service Utility
– Assist the kitchen Blender by providing correctors, combos, and spices to Blender. Completes daily production and/or QA paperwork. Ensures work is completed in a safe manner and within the quality parameters established. This position requires problem solving responsibilities.

Core Responsibilities
Brings Correctors and combos to Blender
Brings re‑work to the Blender
Takes Trash to inedible dock
Brings and opens spices for blender and help blender operator as needed
Using and maintaining a variety of knives, hand tools, powered tools, equipment, electrical devices, controls and possibly powered industrial trucks.
Working at fixed workstation locations which are conveyor line paced.
Pushing or pulling of heavy roller carts, bins, or transport containers.
Be available to work scheduled hours, which may include mandatory overtime, depending upon production demands.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Must be able to read English in order to be able to identify correct product.

Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in Meat Industry is preferred, but not required.
Being able to understand and follow oral and written instruction from supervisors and designated staff.
Must possess problem solving skills and leadership qualities.
Competent and trustworthy to comply with federal inspection programs and company safety and health policies.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Working in cold environments of 20° to 45° F
Working in hot environments exceeding 100° F
Frequent contact with animal fats
A variety of arm and hand movements are required in applying force, movement and repetition
Frequent static and/or awkward work postures with neck and spine while grasping, pinching, pulling, lifting, extending, flexing the hands and arms
Lifting and lowering objects up to 60 lbs.
Carrying, lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling of heavy and/or awkward objects or loads
Walking long distances, sometimes on wet, uneven and slippery surfaces
Climbing or moving ladders, steps, stairwells and platforms
Continuous standing in one location for long periods (up to 2‑3 hours before break)
