Schedule: Sun–Thu 6:30pm - 2:30am, or Mon‑Fri 9:00pm - 5:00am
Start Date: Jan 19 or Jan 26
Pay Rate: $21/hr
Must Haves
Warehouse labor experience (no clerical/admin‑only backgrounds)
Willingness and ability to work 2nd/3rd shift, Sun–Thu, and variable end times (shift ends when work is done)
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs (e.g., 50‑lb rice bags) repeatedly
Comfortable working around heavy equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks); safety‑first mindset
Experience with hand selection/picking, palletizing, order picking, and cycle counts
Ability to work in cooler and freezer environments (PPE provided; cold tolerance required)
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks
Ability to follow SOPs and meet SLA/production goals; takes feedback well
Basic computer/RF scanner literacy; capable of learning systems (e.g., ROMEO—KeHE’s warehouse system)
Nice to Haves
Prior food distribution or grocery warehouse experience
Experience with ROMEO (or similar WMS), RF scanners, and slotting/pick‑path processes
Experience on 3rd shift in high‑throughput environments
Previous exposure to freezer/cooler workflows and case/pallet handling
OSHA or equipment certifications (forklift, pallet jack), or willingness to complete onsite certification
Day to Day
Perform hand selection, palletizing, and order picking against production targets
Work across ambient, cooler, and freezer zones; maintain safety and product integrity
Execute cycle counts, inventory checks, and basic data entry via RF scanners/WMS (ROMEO)
Handle heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and operate around heavy equipment safely
Support variable schedules: start times 1–9 pm, end times vary with workload
Participate in a 4‑week training program (cohort usually starts Monday)
May be assigned off‑shift coverage for 1–2 weeks depending on workload and trainer capacity
Adhere to SOPs, safety guidelines, and productivity SLAs; maintain a clean, organized work area
Compensation $21/hr (exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education)
