A Day in the Life We anticipate the application window for this opening will close 13th of January 2026.
As a Medical Device Assembler, you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly in a cleanroom environment. Working under moderate supervision, you will assemble medical devices according to good manufacturing practices, manufacturing flow, specific standard operating, and safety procedures. In addition to contributing to the Medtronic mission, you'll also be investing in your career! This is a full time, benefits eligible, direct hire opportunity.
We currently have openings on the night shift. Night shift schedule is as follows:
C-Shift: 5:30 pm - 5:30 am. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday.
This position has a set hourly starting rate at $19.90/hour, plus a $2.70/hour shift differential = $22.60/hour.

Responsibilities
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions.
Sets initial layouts and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s).
Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Assemble medical devices according to the validated procedure
Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions
Comply with all Controlled Environment Area (CEA) / Cleanroom / FAB protocol, including personal hygiene, gowning procedures, and safety procedures
Ensure continuous flow of work in process (wafers / batteries / device)
Perform quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications
Accurately enter data into tracking system
Demonstrate the ability to work as a team member in a manner that is conducive to a positive work environment

Minimum Requirements
Requires full job knowledge of production-related systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
Requires minimum of 2 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
Nice to Have
Previous manufacturing/production experience
Experience working in a clean room environment
Experience with low and high-power microscopes
Semiconductor and Wafer Fab experience in the following areas: Photolithography, Wet Etch, Dry Etch, CVD, Metrology, Laser Bonding, Laser Marking
Surface Mount experience in component attach
Final Device experience: Final Test, Device Singulation, Device Shaping, Leak testing
Experience and knowledge working in a LEAN Manufacturing environment

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $39,200.00 - $58,800.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
