Join Sears Home Services as an Appliance & Refrigeration Repair Technician.
About the Role As a field technician, you’ll travel to customers’ homes to diagnose and repair various home appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves.
Job Responsibilities
Drive to multiple customer homes daily to diagnose and repair appliances with high quality and efficiency.
Deliver an excellent customer experience that exceeds expectations.
Provide customers with value‑added solutions to improve their home comfort.
Maintain company truck and manage parts efficiently.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification.
Mechanical knowledge and aptitude, including use of testing and repair tools.
Preferred experience repairing and diagnosing a variety of home appliances.
Ability to follow directions and quality workmanship processes.
Experience using smartphones for part ordering.
Successful background and drug screening.
Valid driver’s license for the state(s) you work.
Ability to travel up to 100 %.
Availability for variable, flexible hours and required overtime.
Ability to read, understand, and apply written technical instructions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English.
Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform related duties.
Ability to drive an automatic transmission vehicle.
Years Experience 1 – 2 Years Experience
Travel Requirements Road Warrior (75 % or more)
