Job Title:

Security Supervisor

Pay Range:

$21.00-23.00 /hr.

Responsibilities

Assist in evaluating any actual or potential safety threats to the Hotel, its employees, and guests

Advise hotel management of all actions, conditions, policies, and laws which may affect the liability or exposure to liability of the hotel

Assist in developing and conducting training programs for all hotel employees on safety and security awareness and procedures

Respond to requests for first aid and CPR for guests and employees

Maintain confidentiality of all incidents and reports

Implement and support hotel operating policies and procedures

Maintain effective communication with local fire, police, and other authorities

Assist in implementation and maintenance of all security control procedures in the hotel

Respond to emergencies according to hotel policy

Proper investigation and documentation of any incidents reported in the area of safety and security

Directly supervise employees in Loss Prevention. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment

Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Valid Driver’s License required (Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older)

CPR certification (CPR training will be provided)

Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and the ability to quickly access all areas of the resort; work may be indoors and outdoors

Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others

Strong interpersonal communication skills
