Administrative Assistant
Location North Dallas, TX
Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (in office)
Compensation $25 per hour
Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to provide essential organizational support to our Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating competing calendars, scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining office operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage competing calendars to schedule appointments, meetings, and Zoom calls.
Handle incoming emails, correspondence, and phone calls, ensuring timely responses and appropriate routing.
Maintain an inventory of office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is adequately stocked and functional.
Uphold and update office operating procedures to enhance efficiency and organization.
Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for staff, including control of computers, business cards, keys, and procurement cards.
Liaise with facilities to coordinate maintenance and logistics as needed.
Assist the Chief Operating Officer in monitoring multiple budgets and preparing regular budget reports.
Provide general administrative support, including document preparation, data entry, and filing.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Zoom.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
Experience with budget management and reporting is a plus.
