We are partnering with organizations in Fremont that are seeking Metrology Technicians. Perform calibration, maintenance, and verification of precision measuring equipment. Conduct accurate dimensional measurements of components and assemblies using CMMs, optical comparators, and hand tools. Analyze measurement data, generate detailed reports, and identify non-conformances. Develop, program, and validate measurement routines for automated inspection systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with metrology equipment and measurement processes. Maintain comprehensive calibration records and measurement documentation. Provide metrology support and technical guidance to manufacturing and engineering teams. Recommended Qualifications

Associate's degree in Metrology, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 2+ years of hands‑on experience operating CMMs and a variety of precision measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment. Proficient understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Experience with CMM programming software (e.g., PC‑DMIS, Calypso) and metrology data analysis. Familiarity with calibration processes, measurement uncertainty, and relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 17025). Bonus Qualifications

Experience with CMM programming (e.g., PC‑DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS) Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software or data analysis tools Advanced GD&T knowledge or certification (e.g., ASME Y14.5) Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience in a metrology setting Job Titles That Should Apply
