Salary Range:
$41,000 - $64,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Wayland that are seeking skilled Quality Technicians. Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using various measurement tools and techniques.
Document inspection results, non-conformances, and quality data accurately in quality management systems or reports.
Identify, quarantine, and document non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action processes.
Conduct first article inspections and provide production line support for quality-related issues.
Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality defects and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Verify the calibration status of inspection equipment and maintain quality control records.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Basic understanding of quality control principles and inspection methods.
Experience with data entry and basic statistical analysis using spreadsheet software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent experience
Familiarity with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operation or programming
Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software (e.g., Minitab)
Advanced GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) interpretation skills
Experience conducting internal quality audits
