WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Operators lead all aspects of operation of extrusion lines (Blown Film or Coater lines) including changeovers, machine start‑up, running and shutdown.

Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety.

Run all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, and standard operating procedures.

Organise, record, and ensure proper storage of resin.

Adjust machine specifications, pressures, and equipment for each job.

Ensure all appropriate paperwork is filled out accurately and completely.

Work with and direct the extrusion assistant and other teammates to minimise job change‑over and down time.

Train and direct the extrusion assistant to become efficient at all the required assistant duties defined in each level of the assistant training matrix on time.

Know and understand the role in product safety.

Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (Cross Training, moving to the work).

All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift up to 50–60 lbs.

Willing and able to stand and walk for an 8/12 hour shift.

Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.

Frequent use of wrist and hands.

Frequent stepping up and down from platforms.

Previous manufacturing experience.
