Role Overview Join Amcor as an Extrusion Operator where you will lead all Extrusion lines (Blown Film or Coater lines) including changeovers, machine start‑up, running and shutdown.
Schedule Shift: 12‑hour shifts (7 PM – 7 AM) on a 4‑3 rotation.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $27.74/hour

Responsibilities
Support operations in becoming world‑class in all aspects of the business, beginning with safety.
Run all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, and standard operating procedures.
Organize, record, and ensure proper storage of resin.
Adjust machine specifications, pressures, and equipment for each job.
Ensure all appropriate paperwork is filled out accurately and completely.
Work with and direct the extrusion assistant and other teammates to minimize job change‑over and downtime.
Train and direct the extrusion assistant to become efficient at all the required assistant duties defined in each level of the assistant training matrix on time.
Know and understand the role in product safety.
Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (cross‑training, moving to the work).
All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing experience.
Knowledgeable and able to understand a computer and programs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with others in a team environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50‑60 lbs.
Willing and able to stand and walk for a 12‑hour shift.
Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.
Frequent use of wrist and hands.
Frequent stepping up and down from platforms.
