1st Shift Powder Coat Material Coordinator
Daifuku, a leading independent U.S.-based provider of intelligent material handling systems, is hiring a 1st Shift Powder Coat Material Coordinator for its manufacturing plant. The position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 5:00 am–1:00 pm, with Saturdays required as needed.
About Us Daifuku designs, manufactures, integrates, and installs a full spectrum of intralogistics solutions, including conveyor and sortation systems, voice and light–directed order fulfillment equipment, controls and software, robotics, mezzanines, and structures.
Responsibilities
Enter data into SAP regarding issued and transferred parts
Resolve job/segment shortage discrepancies
Receive manufactured parts into stock and issue to upcoming jobs
Assure productivity efficiency through daily tasks
Identify parts using UKG and drawings
Update senior management on shortage status
Investigate missing stock needed for work and sales orders
Maintain an updated shortage list for Shipping Management
Collaborate with departments to resolve shortages and close jobs/segments on time
Inform shipping of findings to enable timely shipment
Comply with Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures
Drive continuous improvement for sustainable process outputs
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
UKG/SAP experience preferred
Proficient with Word and Excel
Strong data‑entry accuracy
Technical orientation
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Multi‑tasking with attention to detail and deadlines
Customer and team orientation
Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities daily
Ability to work Saturdays as needed
Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
ADA Requirements
Seated work, occasional exertion up to 10 lb, negligible frequent exertion
Pleasure: finger‑based activity (typing, pulling, etc.)
Talking: audible verbal communication, normal speech level
Vision: close visual acuity for data analysis, reading, computer use, inspection, measurement, and assembly
Work conditions: indoor environment, protection from weather but not temperature changes
Salary range: USD $16.00–$21.00 per hour.
