Responsibilities Position Summary

The Material Coordinator performs support tasks for the manufacturing plant.

Entering data into SAP database about quantities of issued and transferred parts.

Resolving job/segment shortage discrepancies.

Receiving manufactured parts into stock and issuing out to upcoming jobs.

Assisting in daily tasks to assure productivity efficiency.

Identifying parts through the use of UKG and drawings.

Updating daily Sr. Management on status of shortages on the segments.

Investigating missing stock parts needed for work orders and sales orders.

Monitoring and keeping an updated shortage list available for the Shipping Management team.

Working with every department to resolve shortages to close job/segment in time.

Informing shipping of any findings to help segments ship on time.

Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.

Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements

UKG/SAP experience preferred.

Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.

Accurate data entry skills.

Technical orientation.

Excellent organization skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Ability to multi‑task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.

Customer service orientation.

Team orientation.

Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented.

Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and multi‑task on a daily basis.

Ability to work Saturdays as needed.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

ADA Requirements

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Visual Acuity: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
