Responsibilities Position Summary

The Material Coordinator performs support tasks for the manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Entering data into SAP database about quantities of issued and transferred parts

Resolving job/segments shortage discrepancies

Receiving manufactured parts into stock and issue out to upcoming jobs

Assisting in daily tasks to assure productivity efficiency

Identifying parts through the use of UKG and drawings

Update daily Sr. Management on status of shortages on the segments

Investigate missing stock parts needed for work orders and sales orders

Monitor and keep an updated shortage list available for the Shipping Management team

Work with every department to resolve shortages to close job/segments in time

Inform shipping of any findings to help segments ship on time

Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

UKG/SAP experience preferred

Strong computer skills including Word and Excel

Accurate data entry skills

Technical orientation

Excellent organization skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently with little supervision

Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines

Customer service orientation

Team orientation

Self-motivated and detail-oriented

Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and multi-task on a daily basis

Ability to work Saturdays as needed

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Sedentary work:

The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
